A Different View
For my photography class, our instructor assigned us to take 100 pictures of one place. While Bloomington is filled with great subjects to capture, I decided to photograph a place that I pass every day – my neighborhood. While my neighborhood isn’t exactly “picturesque”, I wanted to really see a place I look at every day from an artistic perspective and find the beauty in something that isn’t ordinarily considered so. The following pictures were chosen for the geometric angles, shapes, and lines mixed with some sort of imperfection.

Dad loves these…there are many to frame but consider the one with the wheel..
Some interesting images here. However, most of them look as if they could do with some levels adjustment to bring out the real vision behind your work – at the moment they look a bit mushy and flat.
Thank you so much for your comment! I am a beginner photographer, so there still is a lot for me to learn! I will definitely take your advice and work on the levels adjustments.
